Running 101

This 6 week program focuses on walk/run intervals to make the student feel confident in running for extended periods of time. A simple, progressive walk-to-run program that begins with more walking than running, and gradually evolves into more running than walking. No distance goals here... just a supportive group of people working towards their own fitness goals.

 

DATES: Tuesdays, 6/28-8/2 from 6-7pm

 

Recommended Equipment: Running shoes
and a water bottle

Cost: $60 for the 6-week series

Positive peer pressure at its best! Join our welcoming crew of new and experienced runners - your pace, your race. Each walk/run is led by an experienced coach offering structured workouts to challenge you with intentional training from hill work to speed work. This organized, disciplined, and surprisingly fun activity will get you outside for a fresh-air run, even on the days you don't think you have it in you.

 

Enjoy the support and camaraderie of other runners of all abilities - use this opportunity to collaborate and learn from others to improve your training techniques and establish sustainable routines for your own health and wellness.

Schedule: Each Wednesday from 6-7pm

Cost: $12 drop-in rate
